MK Equine services are expanding their range of massage options to include canines.

Canine Therapeutic Massage is an adaptation of the strokes, techniques and principles utilized in Equine Sports Massage Therapy. Employing scanning, stroking, skin rolling, kneading, stretching, circles and acupressure points to reduce muscle spasms, prevent injury, increase circulation, relieve stress and tension and improve range of motion.

This is aimed at improving the health and wellness of every type of dog and can be of particular benefit for senior dogs, highly active dogs, post surgical rehab, arthritis relief, and highly nervous and anxious dogs.

Sessions last approximately 30 minutes, depending on the size and mood of the dog, and are conducted in the dogs own home.
