In addition to Equine Sports Massage Therapy (ESMT), MK Equine Services, a member of the International Association of Animal Massage Therapists, offers assistance in a number of other horse care areas.

Clipping and Grooming: MK Equine Services can clip and groom to fit all different styles and needs, including full, high and low trace, hunter, dressage and blanket, complete with trimming to the horse’s exact specifications. Grooming is provided by a quiet and patient handler, who cut her teeth in the American equine industry as the chief groom for a gold-medalist Olympic Equestrian. For difficult and skittish horses, MK Equine Services requests that the owner (or an authorized representative) provide and administer sedative.

Instruction: With experience teaching a broad range of ages and abilities, MK Equine Services takes a practical approach to riding instruction by uncompromisingly focusing on the rider’s currently ability and, more importantly, capability as seen through the eyes of an discerning equestrian. Featuring an experienced riding instructor for a number of stables in the US and the UK, MK Equine Services can tailor lessons to the specifications of any client ranging from nervous, first-time riders, who might need a little push to realize their own potential, to children and adults with disabilities and even to seasoned equestrians who need more detailed observation to improve their form.

Horse/Barn Sitting: Designed for those who care for their own horses or whose barn help is away for the short term, MK Equine Services offers daily visits to bring in or turn out, feed, hay, water and pick the animals as needed. For added security for those who have horses at home, MK Equine Services will send a experienced groom to tend to them in the evenings and mornings, with onsite presence* overnight. To ensure the continuity of meals MK Equine Services requests that all feeds are pre-made and clearly labeled.
